Join us on Monday, December 4, from 1 to 3 pm in the Video Lab for a special Holiday Edition of Short Film Showcase (#27), curated by our new SFS Coordinator, Joe Brown (see info below).
Spend the afternoon at the Video Club for a great selection of short dramas, comedies, documentaries, and animations, chosen — with a holiday flair — to entertain, inspire, and motivate you to create your own videos. Moderated audience discussion will follow each of the films — and you’ll enjoy free popcorn! Open without charge to all Village residents and their guests.
Below, read and/or download SFS #27 flyer.

Above, Diane Matonti and Joe Brown discuss Short Film Showcase plans in the Video Lab. Diane and her husband, Bob, were the previous SFS Co-Coordinators, trained by SFS founder Stephanie Brasher.
Originally from Jamaica, Joe Brown retired in 2010 from Mary Kay Cosmetics, where he served as art director. Before that, he ran his own design studio. Joe and his wife, Judy, lived in the Dallas, TX suburb of Coppell for 30 years, moving to the Village fulltime in 2019. He previously lived in New York. In the Village, he is involved in the Theatre Guild and the Astronomy Club, in addition to his work for the Video Club. Joe also plays golf, while Judy enjoys tennis and bridge.
