WHY JOIN THE VIDEO CLUB? Membership in the Video Club entitles you to reduced prices on club classes and events and fuller participation in team-based video production activities. Only members may enter the club’s Annual Short Video Contest and only members may vote to select contest winners at the club’s Annual Goldies Awards Banquet.
Video Club activities help you stay up-to-date in a fast-changing technical field — especially in the age of AI — and make it easy for you to confer with others on your choices and uses of equipment. Most important for many of us, club membership and participation leads to long-term friendships and a strong feeling of community — as well as to a deep sense of accomplishment when our video skills and video efforts improve.

Three ways to join the Video Club:
By Check: Mail your completed Membership Application and your check to Video Club of Laguna Woods, c/o Jonathan Williams, 3161 Alta Vista Unit C, Laguna Woods, CA 92637.
By Zelle: Log into your bank account and add “videocluboflagunawoods@gmail.com” as a New Recipient. Once this email address is added, you can then use Zelle to make a payment. Please identify for whom you are paying and that you are paying membership dues in the “Add A Message” box on Zelle. Finally, mail in your completed Membership Form as directed above or bring it to the Video Lab as directed below.
In Person: Fill out a Membership Application and pay with a check (preferred) or cash in the Video Lab, open Tuesday-Friday, 1-4 pm.

- Reduced prices on our classes and events.
- Access (along with all Village residents) to the Video Lab including the Marvin Green Memorial Capture Center for preserving old 35mm slides, VHS tapes, 8mm & Super 8 film and other legacy media. This benefit is of special interest to non-resident members.
- Access to the Tom Nash Studio which includes two sets (one is green-screen), cameras, lights, mics, switcher and other production equipment.
You will also receive regular email notices about our activities (but you don’t have to join to receive our emails — just click here to sign up).
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Membership for Laguna Woods Village residents is $15 a year for one person or $20 a year for two at the same address. Non-resident rates are $20 for one person, $30 for two at the same address. If you join after September 1, your payment covers membership for the rest of the current year and all of the coming year.
