It’s that time again! Banquet Chair Marsha Berman has finalized plans for the Video Club’s 13th Annual Goldie Awards Banquet, to be held Thursday, February 29 at the Village Greens 19 Restaurant, starting with socializing and a no-host bar at 5 pm, followed by a delicious buffet dinner at 6 pm, showing of the top 10 entries in the club’s Annual Short Video Contest, voting by members present, and climaxing with the presentation of Goldie Awards to the top three winners. It’s a memorable dress-up opportunity featuring Academy Award décor!

Prices have been held to last year’s $30 for members, $35 for guests – providing a feast of mixed green salad; chicken Marsala (grilled chicken in herb-mushroom Marsala wine sauce); Alaska cod, herb-crusted and baked with slivered almonds and fresh lemons; roasted baby potatoes; jasmine rice; and steamed vegetables, topped by chocolate mousse cake and New York cheesecake – with dinner wine included. The deadline for reservations is Friday, February 23.
