Check Out These Winter Classes Coming Up!

Three upcoming classes you won’t want to miss.

Saturdays, January 13, 20, 27, “Video Editing Using Corel VideoStudio” (Windows)
3 sessions. Instructor: Dr. Tom Nash. Tom will again offer his essential introductory class for PC users. Learn how to make your raw video clips interesting to family and friends.

NEW CLASS: Tuesdays, February 6, 15, 20, “Continuity”
3 sessions. Instructor: Dr. Tom Nash (left). Learn how to shoot and edit video so that the various parts of the video come together into a harmonious whole. Includes techniques for avoiding continuity errors. Everyone who shoots and/or edits video needs this course.

NEW CLASS: Wednesdays, February 14, 21, 28, “Smile for the Camera”
3 sessions. Instructor: Cherri Farah. An experienced on-air talent, Cherri Farah (right) will share tips about how to do interviews and how to conquer nervousness when addressing the camera. You’ll learn where you should look and how to present yourself to best advantage. As you practice interviewing and on-camera presentations, you will build confidence and technique. Some of your work will be recorded and reviewed in class.
