Bear C.A. Sanchez (right), an entertainment professional who works with a theatrical group at the Casta Del Sol retirement community in Mission Viejo, will be our General Meeting speaker Wednesday, April 10, presenting and discussing his film, “A Journey Through The Twilight Zone,” in the Video Lab. The program is open without charge to all Village residents and their guests. Snacks and socializing at 6:30 pm, program at 7.
With a cast of actors from his group and from the Village Theatre Guild, Bear single-handedly adapted the script, directed, shot, and edited this full-length feature film, which had a successful showing on January 18 to a crowd in Clubhouse 5. He will share how he created the film, using a small camera and sound-in-camera audio.
Bear C.A. Sanchez started his film career at the age of 8 as a child actor. He was just as fascinated with what was going on behind the camera as he was being in front of it. He currently works for Movies By Kids, a company that teaches children the art of film making. Bear is one of the writers and directors for the Casta del Sol Variety Club where he devotes his heart and creativity to teaching and entertaining the residents. You can see many of his works on his YouTube channel, Star Quality Productions.
