April 15 General Meeting: Producing Your Own Podcast (or Vodcast)

Podcasts and vodcasts reach thousands of listeners and viewers every day, and more people than ever want to learn how to create them. If you’ve been curious about producing your own show, this is your moment.

Three Village residents, Jack Crawbuck, David Wells, and John Peters, will share their real-world experience as producers of both formats. They will walk you through the essentials, including:

  • Developing a concept, theme, and topic
  • Identifying your niche and choosing a format
  • Selecting software, microphones, and other tools
  • Planning a release schedule
  • Using Artificial Intelligence to create a polished, professional podcast in minutes

This is a rare chance to learn directly from seasoned creators who know how to turn ideas into compelling content.

Open without charge to all Village residents and Video Club members. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and mingling. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Video Lab, located between Clubhouse 2 and the Pool inside Gate 12.
