Due to COVID, the club was not able to hold its Annual Goldie Awards Banquet, but the contest entries were shown via Zoom on February 18, 2021, and winners were selected by members in the meeting.
(Below) On the front page of the Globe, December 19, 2019! This article is about “Welcome to My Home,” a television show produced by the Video Club, which aired monthly on Village Television for several years. Suzanne Savlov was the show’s producer.
(Below) On the front page of the Globe, March 14, 2019! This article is about The Village Centenarian Photo Project, a joint venture between the Video Club, the Camera Club, and the Village Thrive group, conducted during 2018 and 2019. (See detailed website coverage of the project under “Categories>Centenarian Photo Project” in the column at left.) Photo portraits of 16 Village residents over 100 years of age were taken to match young photos of each centenarian. The matching photos were exhibited at various locations in the Village at the close of the project in mid-2019. In addition, as part of the project, each centenarian was video-interviewed. The interviews were broadcast on Village Television and are available to view on the Village TV YouTube channel.
