The Video Club’s Fall-Winter 2021 Learning Opportunities Schedule is now available with six in-person classes being offered, starting with Dr. Tom Nash’s three-session “Introduction to PC Video Editing” on Friday, September 17, at 10 am in the Video Lab. Here’s your chance to delight family and friends by turning your random video clips into interesting videos to share. In this key class, you’ll learn how to use Corel Video Studio to arrange clips on the timeline, add titles, music, and transitions – and much more.

For students who want to master additional editing skills, Tom will offer “Intermediate PC Video Editing Using Corel VideoStudio” for two sessions, starting Friday,, October 15 at 10 am in the Video Lab. Other classes and their start dates are “Introduction to YouTube,” October 12; “Finding Resources for Your Video Projects,” November 1; “Managing Video Sound,” November 5; and “Managing Your Camera,” December 3.
In addition to formal classes, the schedule lists other Video Club learning opportunities, including Forums (free special interest groups for members), plus quarterly Short Film Showcase presentations and monthly informational General Meetings.
Classes for members are $5 per session. Non-members are invited to join the Video Club at $15 a year for one person, $20 for two at the same address. Non-Village residents are $20 for one person, $30 for two at the same address. Pre-registration for classes is not required.
