Chuck Holland, Information Technology Director, Village Management Services, discussed information technology issues and recent improvements during and as we emerge from the COVID-19 crisis at the Video Club’s October 21 General Meeting. Included was a blow-by-blow description of the system-wide computer hack VMS suffered during 2020 at the hands of Russian hackers and how the situation was handled. Also included was a discussion of VMS’s current move to the cloud and to greater data security.
