An enthusiastic crowd attended the Video Club’s General Meeting, Wednesday, May 21, to hear Sheri Kohlmann, a certified Guided Autobiography (GAB) instructor, explain how to organize your life story for a video to share with family and friends. She was joined by Charlie Redner, cofounder and President of the Spoken Word Club of Laguna Village, who has participated in Sheri’s classes and who shared clips from his own life story video. Southern California Videographer Leah Gloubermann, whose production firm, Living Memories, created Charlie’s video, was also introduced at the meeting. NOTE: Several people attending the May 21 General Meeting on making your own life story video requested a copy of the Life Graph presented by speaker Sheri Kohlmann. View, print, or download a copy below. (See an example of a completed Life Graph on the second side.)

Attendees also learned how to get help producing their life story video by attending free weekly TUESDAY YOUR DAY meetings in the Video Lab from 10 am to 2 pm. Tuesdays are when Club President Jonathan Williams welcomes club members and visitors to share and have fun with video projects.

The Video Lab is located inside Gate 12 between Clubhouse 2 and the Pool. All Village residents and their guests were invited to attend the May 21 General Meeting without charge — refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm, program at 7 pm.
