See Video Club Programming on Village Television During January

The half-hour show, “Laguna Woods Stories,” hosted by Dr. Tom Nash and produced by our Video One team in the Video Studio, will air over Village Television on five Wednesdays, January 3, 10, 17, 24, and 30, at 12 noon. Two residents are profiled – resident Shari Horne (above), Laguna Woods City Council member and outgoing Mayor, and published mystery writer Jill Amadio (left). Jill recently moved to the Village and is now a Video One member, interested in helping the team write scripts.

President Steve Carman and veteran Mac Club instructor Ron Plain will be interviewed on Village Television’s “This Day” show on Tuesday, January 9, at 8:30 am, about the new collaboration between the Mac Club and the Video Club to teach iMovie video editing for Apple devices in the Mac Learning Center. See related story. “This Day” airs again at 12:30 pm and 5 pm – but f you miss it, we expect Steve and Ron’s interview to be posted on Village Television’s YouTube channel.

Resident and professional videographer Scott Marvel was interviewed Wednesday, January 3, by Ken Goldenberg on Village TV’s “This Day” show, discussing his Video Club class on “Making Travel Videos that People LOVE,” which started January 5. Scott described smartphone video shooting and editing techniques he covers in the class. The interview may be seen on Village TV’s YouTube channel.
