Chuck Holland, Village Management Services’ Information Technology Director, discussed new communication services coming to the Village at the club’s General Meeting, Thursday, May 17, in the Video Lab. Communication services in Laguna Woods Village continue to benefit from upgrades under the Village Management Services (VMS) team. Among the newest are the completely-rebuilt Village website (still being tweaked for best usability), the DwellingLive web-based portal for resident use, and a new whole-home DVR service being rolled out by Village Television.
For more information, contact Steve Carman, steve.carman@mac.com, 424-254-6583. This will be our last General Meeting until September 20.
RECORDINGS TO BE MADE AVAILABLE
Chuck’s presentation was video recorded by Dr. Tom Nash and will be made available, along with other General Meeting programs, on the club’s YouTube channel through a summer editing project headed by Video One member Bill Hemberger. Until now, recordings made of many of General Meeting programs have not been available, either to club members or to the general public.
