“Introduction to YouTube,” one of the Video Club’s most popular classes with Villagers who want share their videos online, has been rescheduled from Monday, October 15, to Monday, November 5. The one-session class will be held from 10 am to noon in the Video Lab, taught by veteran instructor Chuck Hale, whose original YouTube tutorials will be part of the class.
Nine original video tutorials Chuck has created about using YouTube will be discussed in class and handed out to students on DVDs. The tutorials have also been uploaded to YouTube. You can view them by typing “vcoflw YouTube” into the YouTube search bar.
Topics include an overview of YouTube, how to create your own YouTube channel, how to upload or delete a video, installing and using YouTube Downloader, and downloading music for your videos from YouTube Audio Library.
