What Can the Video Club Do for You? Find Out at Our September 16 Open House

Tour our Video Lab and Tom Nash Studio and find out what the Video Club can do for you at our big OPEN HOUSE, Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 pm and all are welcome without charge. The Video Club is located inside Gate 12, between Clubhouse 2 and Pool 2. Refreshments and wine will be served.

Through the Video Club, you can produce podcasts, vodcasts, interviews, personal profiles, and other video productions. Capture family and travel memories — your grandson’s birthday party or your trip to Mexico — using only your smartphone or a small, convenient camcorder. Improve your golf swing or tennis serve. Make a training or a “how-to” video. Help produce a show for Village Television. Or tell a story, making a Short Dramatic Film with other filmmakers. Use microphones and lighting for even better results. Learn how to capture and edit it all — inserting still photos, titles, creative transitions, your own or other narration, as well as exciting music, to bring your videos to life!

In the Marvin Green Memorial Capture Center — part of the Video Lab — you can turn your vintage media into modern, safe, and easy-to-store digital formats. Capture and restore VHS tapes, 8mm and Super 8 films, photos, slides, audio tapes, and more. Video Lab Supervisors will show you how — and there is no charge! Don’t lose those precious memories hidden away in boxes and closets. Older media deteriorate with time — and the younger generation has no way to enjoy them. Let the Video Club teach you how to share your memories with family and friends.
