Video Club on Village Television in November

CHUCK HALE ON “THIS DAY” – Longtime Video Club instructor Chuck Hale, who will be offering his “Introduction to YouTube” class on Monday, November 5, will be interviewed by news anchor Ken Goldenberg on Village Television’s “This Day” news show on Friday, November 2.

CYNDEE WHITNEY ON “THIS DAY” – Video Club member Cyndee Whitney, host of Village Television’s “Discovering Laguna Woods Village” show, will be interviewed on “This Day” Friday, November 9, to discuss “The Importance of Creativity Throughout Our Lives.” Cyndee will give a multi-media presentation on this topic at our November 15 General Meeting.

  • “This Day” broadcasts live at 8:30 am and is rebroadcast at 12:30 pm and 5 pm. Past “This Day” segments are stored on the Village Television YouTube channel.

LAGUNA WOODS STORIES” – Dr. Tom Nash’s monthly half-hour interview show, “Laguna Woods Stories,” produced by Video One Productions, continues on Village Television Wednesdays and Sundays at 12 noon. Tom introduces viewers to residents who share interesting aspects of their lives.

THRIVE SHOW” – Scott Marvel’s monthly half-hour Thrive Show, featuring residents thriving in Laguna Woods Village, is broadcast Thursdays at 9:30 am and Sundays at 10:30 am. Scott shoots these shows with his iPhone, demonstrating that advanced videography can be done on smartphones.

“DISCOVERING LAGUNA WOODS” – Cyndee Whitney, a resident and Video Club member, hosts her monthly half-hour show “Discovering Laguna Woods Village” on Wednesdays at 9:30 am and Sundays at 9:30 am. Cyndee will be our General Meeting speaker this month, discussing creativity on November 15.
