“Thirty-Second Spots: How to Make Them and What They Can Do” will be the topic of the Video Club’s next General Meeting, Thursday, November 21, 2019, in the Video Lab. Snacks and socializing at 6:30 pm, program at 7 pm. Open free to members, residents, and their guests.
Conducting the program will be club members and Village residents John Kelly (right), a professional videographer, and Bill Hemberger (below), a voice-over professional and audio specialist. John and Bill will combine their extensive video and audio experience to explore the effective — but very challenging — video medium of thirty-second spots, with on-screen examples and discussion.
Voting will take place for the club’s 2020 slate of officers at the meeting. All current officers have agreed to serve again for 2020. They are Steve Carman, president; Tom Nash, vice president; Stephanie Brasher, secretary; and Bob Kulpa, treasurer.
No General Meeting will be held in December. Our speaker at the next General Meeting, January 16, 2020, will be Jeff Parker, new CEO / President of Village Management Services Inc. (rescheduled from the October 17 meeting, which had to be cancelled when Mr. Parker was unavoidably detained in travel).
