The Video Club has decided to offer more video-related classes via Zoom during the COVID 19 shutdown, following the success of an online class taught in June by Dr. Tom Nash. Twenty-four enthusiastic participants enrolled to learn the basics of Audacity, the popular, free audio editing program. They even persuaded Tom to extend the class from two to three sessions.
During the shutdown, there will be no charge for Zoom classes, which are:
How to Use Music to Enhance Your Video Productions. 2 sessions. Saturdays, July 11 and 18, 10 am, via Zoom. How to choose the right music to strengthen the emotional response of your video, and how and where to find appropriate music. Instructor: Dr. Tom Nash.
How to Record Great Sound for Your Video. 2 sessions, Saturdays, August 1 and 8, 10 am, via Zoom. The built-in mic on your video camera is hardly ever in the right place to record great sound. We will cover how to get the mic to the right place, what kind of mic to use, and more. Instructor: Dr. Tom Nash.
