One of our goals as a Video Club is to encourage members to shoot video with their cameras, smart phones, and iPads. We offer a variety of classes to help you create video content that your family and friends will enjoy watching. So, now is the time to take that leap and submit a video to our Annual Short Video Contest. Content might be a travel event, family memories, or activity-focused video. Whatever your choice is, we encourage you to participate in the annual contest.
The deadline is 4 pm Friday, January 20, 2023. Maximum length is 4 minutes. Open to all Members of the Video Club. Entry forms will be available soon. Members present will vote to select winners from the top 10 videos submissions to be shown during our Annual Goldie Awards Banquet, Thursday, February 9, 2023, in the 19 Restaurant Village Greens. Time and cost TBA.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION Entries must be member-produced. 4 minutes or less. Entries should be cinematic (defined as having qualities characteristic of video or motion pictures) and should tell a story. Must be submitted on a USB flash drive in MP4 format. One entry per person. Entry-approval decisions of the Video Acceptance Committee (VAC) are final. Entrant’s name in video is OK. Help from other Video Club members is OK. Avoid copyrighted material, if possible. If copyrighted material is included, problems may be encountered including the video on our club YouTube channel with other contest videos. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION Bring your entry to the Video Lab during open hours, Tuesday-Friday, 1-4 pm, and place them in the Video Contest Entry Box.
