Dr. Tom Nash to Discuss Making Docu-Drama at General Meeting

Manson Family Member Was Subject of Biola Film

Dr. Tom Nash (below) will share the story behind “the most unusual and challenging film” he ever produced during his 26 years teaching film-making at Biola University when he addresses our General Meeting, Thursday, January 18, on “The Making of a Docu-Drama” – a film about Manson Family member Charles “Tex” Watson.

Tom will describe how and why he and his students took on the project, why they decided on a docu-drama (versus a documentary), what it was like meeting with Charles Watson in prison. He’ll also show some clips from the film. Refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm, program at 7 pm in the Video Lab. Open without charge to members and all residents and their guests.
