Two important dates this winter are February 1, the deadline for entries in the Video Club’s 2018 Annual Short Video Contest (click here for full info), and February 9, the deadline for reservations to our 9th Annual “Academy” Awards Banquet, when contest winners will be chosen by members present.

Of course, the most important date is Saturday, February 16, when the Banquet will be held in the Main Dining Room of Clubhouse 2, with socializing from: 5-5:45 pm, dinner from 6-7 pm, and video entry showings at 7:45 pm. The Video Acceptance Committee will again select the 10 top video entries to be shown at the Banquet.

A delicious sit-down dinner by Jolanda will feature Marbella chicken or salmon with lemon sauce or vegetarian cheese ravioli with marinara sauce.
Two familiar faces will join us again this year, according Banquet Chair Marsha Berman. They are Mark Hochberg, who will provide his great piano stylings during the GRF no-host cocktail hour, and David Dearing, who will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.
