Betsy Martin moderated as the guests viewed a selection of dramas, comedies, documentaries, and animations chosen by Stephanie Brasher. “We strive to entertain, inspire, and motivate you to create your own videos,” says Stephanie. Below is a list of the films shown. All are available on YouTube.

Coin Operated (5.2 minutes)
Passing (4.9 minutes)
Eyes on the Stars (3.2 minutes)
A Marriage to Remember (8.2 minutes)
1500 Words (8.6 minutes)
The Last Reel (6.9 minutes)
The Answers (7.6 minutes)
Heavenly Appeals (2.2 minutes)

John Kelly, the Video Club’s External Video Coordinator, substituted for Dr. Tom Nash, retired head of the Mass Communications Department at Biola University, to facilitate lively discussions of each film.

The next Short Film Showcase will be held on Monday, May 4, 1-3 pm, in the Video Lab. Open free to all Village residents and their guests. Handouts listing the films shown will be provided. (And you get free popcorn.) Don’t miss it!
