Calling All Members!!!!

As a gift to our members and their loyalty throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the Video Club of Laguna Woods invites you and your guests to join us for our 2nd Annual Summer BBQ in the Park. The grill will be on with Angus Burgers & tasty Frankfurters, whichever your choice.  Chefs Jim Rohrs and Steve Carman will be at the grill! 

With respect to everyone and an attempt to limit the food handling, we are providing all condiments for the burgers & dogs as well as side dishes that include:  potato salad, coleslaw & baked beans.  Please BYO beverages. Water will be provided.
 
WHEN?  Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 5:00 pm in the park next to the Video Lab.
 
RSVP to:  Videocluboflagunawoods@gmail.com with your name, phone number, the number of people in your party and choice of burgers or franks. There is no charge, but bring your own beverages (water provided). Space is limited, so RSVP soon!  

To highlight the evening, we will award “Goldie” trophies to the three winners of our annual 2021 Goldie Awards Video Competition.  Because of COVID-19, we were unable to hold our annual in-person Awards Banquet (when video entries are normally shown and winners chosen — instead, we did it all on Zoom on February 18), so this is an opportunity to bring our membership together and recognize the winners of this year’s contest.

The three winning videos will be shown in the Video Lab during the BBQ from 5:45 to 6:30 pm, prior to the awards presentation. (And while you’re there take a look at our recent Video Lab upgrades — with new worktables and an overhead projector.)
