“Producing Podcasts and Vodcasts A-Z,” a new class offered by the Video Club of Laguna Woods starting May 26, is designed to take you from idea to on-air with confidence.
Taught by a team of Video Club leaders, the first two-hour session will be held in the Video Lab on Tuesday, May 26, walking you step-by-step through everything you need to build a successful show.
In Session 2, on Thursday, June 4 in the Tom Nash Studio, you will create a working version of your own show.
Podcasts and vodcasts are growing in popularity every day.. What’s the difference? A podcast is a series of audio programs that can be downloaded or streamed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, usually focusing on spoken-word content. A vodcast (video podcast) follows similar formats but includes video, allowing viewers to watch the hosts, guests, and visual aids.

The Video Lab and Tom Nash Studio are located between Clubhouse 2 and the pool inside Gate 12. To help cover handouts, equipment, and overhead, the Video Club requests a one-time $15 donation.
