All are welcome to attend a series of three new classes taught by Dr. Tom Nash of special interest to those involved in video production. To be held on Friday afternoons from 1-3 pm in the Video Studio, starting Friday, September 27, except for the two second Friday afternoons when Video One Productions now meets. On Friday, October 11, and Friday, November 8, the classes will meet in the morning from 10 am to noon.

“The Importance of Music in Your Video”
1 session, Friday, September 27, 2019, 1-3-pm, Video Studio
“Music is the most important non-verbal tool we have as videographers,” says instructor Tom Nash. This research-based presentation will show you how to enhance and reinforce your video with music, rather than distracting from the main point. This program will be video-recorded to stream later on the club website.

“How to Record Great Audio and Solve Audio Problems”
2 sessions, Friday, October 11, 10 am-noon, & Friday, October 18, 2019, 1-3 pm, Video Studio
Includes an introduction to the free, open-source audio editing program Audacity. You shoot video, be it an interview, an event, a musical performance, or a birthday party, and the pictures are good — but the sound? Not so good! This course will teach you how to get great sound.

“Advanced Studio Production Using Green Screen”
3 sessions, Friday, November 8, 10 am-noon, and Fridays, November 15, & 22, 2019, 1-3 pm, Video Studio
